A Family Business
Jay’s Tree Farm was founded by the Jay family in 1987 on their family farm in Mooresville, Indiana. Ever since then, it has been passed down from one generation to the next. As of 2024, ownership transferred to the current owners: James, Johnny, and Jake Jay. The three brothers are excited to continue the family tradition together.
James, Johnny, and Jake have all grown up working on the 30+ acre tree farm. From planting in the spring, to mowing in the summer, and helping during the busy holiday season, they are familiar with the inner workings of what it takes to ensure the farm thrives for many years to come. They are committed to raising great quality Christmas trees as well as providing an amazing experience for their customers at the farm. They want their customers to be able to celebrate and make memories each holiday season at Jay’s Tree Farm.
At the Farm
In addition to Christmas trees, we sell tree stands, fresh made wreaths, ornaments, hats, beanies, candles, and a variety of other holiday goodies. Also, we plan to partner with local vendors to provide drinks and snacks from food trucks during our busy weekends. The food truck partners for each year will be announced on our social media channels leading up to the season.
We have a nice bonfire to sit around at the farm for you to enjoy your food and drinks from the vendors. Also, we will have Santa come for pictures during a few weekends throughout the season and the dates will be announced on social media.
Photography Sessions
We do allow photographers to book sessions at our farm for their clients. We do require that you contact us at jaystreefarm@gmail.com to schedule a date and time. We will have holiday photo shoot openings each year during the first three weekends of November. There is a $100 fee per session per day, which will be collected at the time of the session in cash or check.
